Pediatric Care

Our Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Tayo Adjapon-Yamoah, attended Yale School of Nursing and spent her first year of practice on the border of Mexico in a rural town where specialty care was not readily available. She is experienced with ages 0-21 and with most common pediatric problems. She only refers to a specialist when it is truly necessary, or if desired by the family, and she partners with families to determine the best plan of care for any diagnosis or problem. Everything is a discussion and her goal is that each family leaves the office feeling heard and satisfied.

 She is also able to see adolescents for confidential reproductive and sexual health issues. She gives respectful, non-judgmental, and evidence-based care using the most up-to-date guidelines.
